Early life[edit]
Eric Alexander Ozario was born on 18th May 1949 in Jeppu to the Late Prospero Ozario and Late bernadette Ozario.
His parents had ten children and he was the seventh in the family.
Career[edit]
Eric spent 18 of his younger years in trade union activitism fighting for the rights adignity and rights of the people of the Jeppu ghetto in mmangalore.
They had a group called Sweet Serenade.that played at weddings and local parties.
2001 Kalaangan was inaugurated by Naseerudin Shah, noted stage and film actor and coincidentally a former high school mate of Eric's at school in Ajmeer, By 2008 the entire project was completed and the film maker Shyam Benegal dedicated the institution to the world.
Founder member of Mandd Sobhann. Its mission is to preserve, promote and enrich Konkani language and culture and to ensure the transmission of the Konkani Heritage to future generations.
2018 he organised the worlds first Baila show.
