The Republic of Northrop, commonly referred to as Northrop, is a satirical nation on the CyberBean SMP Season 2. It is the smallest yet most powerful nation on the server. It is situated north of Spawn and stretches up to the Northrop River. The largest town and capital is Northrop Village.
Etymology[edit]
The Republic of Northrop is named after the Northrop Village, “Northrop” being a romanized version of the old villager name meaning “land that is north of the sea.”
History[edit]
The area now occupied by Northrop was first settled in 209 BCE by Villagers from across Spawn Ocean. Traveling by boat, they reached Spawn Island but did not settle there, instead moving north to establish three communities - Northrop Village, Ty’s Village, and Eastern Village. Northrop Village, along Northrop River, was a mostly farming community comprised of wooden and terracotta buildings, and large wheat and beetroot farms. 90% of the population were farmers.
When Players began exploring the world beyond Spawn Island, a wealthy Player named CanO27sprite laid claims to all lands from Spawn River to Northrop River, encompassing Northrop Village. The area became prosperous after CanO27sprite established sugar cane farms, boosting employment for local Villagers.
Tensions began rising between Greater CyberBean SMP and CanO27sprite in early 2022 when Villagers, employed as low-wage serfs by GSBSMP, began traveling in large numbers to CanO27sprite’s land and Northrop Village for more pay and better working conditions, leaving Spawn with a labor shortage. As a result, TurtleTech_ banned immigration between Spawn and CanO27sprite’s land, further increasing tensions. He had recently commissioned an Emerald Farm, enabling him to destabilize the Emerald currency in favor of the Diamond, preferred by Players. By early summer 2022, Villagers working in CanO27sprite’s land realized they needed leadership in order to prevent any attack or threat from Greater CyberBean SMP, as well as lower inflation caused by Emerald Farming. So, on July 4th, 2022, CanO27sprite declared the independence of the Republic of Northrop from Greater CyberBean SMP with the following document:
I, CanO27sprite, on this day July 4th, 2022, hereby declare that the Great Nation of Northrop shall here, now, and henceforth be allowed to carry out all the duties and obligations of a free and independant nation.
Northrop’s borders shall, at its founding, encompass all of CanO27sprite’s existing land claims, excluding his sugar cane farms along Spawn River, and excluding the half of the Northern Bridge extending towards Spawn Island, and including Northrop Village.
Northrop shall be entitled to a leadership under President CanO27sprite.
The move was met with skepticism and controversy in Spawn but was not challenged. CanO27sprite’s first actions were establishing government. The capital city was set as Northrop Village, and CanO27sprite’s Northrop Mountain Mansion became the Presidential Palace. Road infrastructure was built to connect Northrop Village, the Presidential Palace, and new bamboo farms and farming communities in the south and Spawn. Northrop’s main exports at the time were, from greatest to least; sugarcane, bamboo, precious metals, and wheat. At this time large ore deposits were discovered and the mining industry in Northrop shot up, accounting now for 43% of Northrop’s wealth.
In late July 2022, CanO27sprite announced that he would be investing Ɇ3.3 Billion in new Iron production factories in order to challenge the TurtleTech_’s monopoly on the Iron industry, which he believed was exploiting low-wage Villagers. On July 23rd, the first Iron Factory opened, and CanO27sprite formed Steelz, an iron export company based in Northrop in order to sell Northrop’s new iron. As a result, iron shot up from 7% of Northrop’s exports to 81%. Steelz was enormously successful, easily bringing TurtleTech_’s monopoly to an end.
Early August saw the beginning of the Rocket Race, an economic race between Northrop and the Greater CyberBean SMP to produce gunpowder rockets, a very expensive commodity at the time. The race began as CanO27sprite again saw the GCBSMP’s Gunpowder monopoly as hurting peasant Villagers, so to challenge TurtleTech_’s 750gp/h production, he invested Ɇ7 Billion in the creation of two major gunpowder factories, one in Northrop and one on the Mushroom Isles. Together these farms were able to produce 1034 gp/h, exploding into the market with the Northropian brand Flyz. This economic venture resulted in Northrop surpassing GCBSMP in wealth, ending the Gunpowder and Iron races and establishing Northrop as a world power.
Government[edit]
Executive Branch[edit]
The Northropian Constitution grants executive powers to a President for Life (PFL), and new PFLs are elected by a popular vote upon the previous PFL’s death, resignation, or retirement. The Vice PFL acts as an assistant to the President and assumes his powers and responsibilities while the President is traveling, sick, or somehow unable to act as President. The Presidental Cabinet consists of a Secretary of War, Labor, and State.
Legislative-Judicial Branch[edit]
The Congress of the Republic of Northrop has the powers of the Legislative-Judicial Branch. The Congress has ten (10) seats, of which the PFL and VPFL are automatically members of. New bills may be recommended by any citizen and has the right to be reviewed by Congress as soon as possible and voted on via simple majority. If it passes Congress, the President must sign it to become law.
Any legal case may be brought before the Congress and a decision may be made by a simple majority.

The Nacorian Empire is an anarchic empire on the CyberBean SMP Season 3 Server. It is the only independent nation on the server, and encompasses the entire known world. The capital and largest city is Nacorian City, situated at Spawn.
Etymology[edit]
“Nacoria” is the old Villager name for the Spawn Penninsula, meaning roughly “land of many trees.” After Players entered the world the name was rarely used. CanO27sprite, after receiving an invitation to Nacoria’s government, choose the name.
History[edit]
Early History and Founding[edit]
When Players first came into the world, scattered villages and farming communities with no central government populated the land that would become the Nacorian Empire. The Players at first fought fiercely with each other until two distinctive groups formed, the Imperial Alliance and the Anti-Imperialists. The Imperial Alliance built a fort along the Southern River, forming an alliance with the local Pillagers, fellow enemies of the Anti-Imperialists. It took two months for Anti-Imperialist forces to overrun and loot the fort.
After their fort was overrun, the Imperial Alliance decided to move north to Spawn, which international agreements spared from fighting. They built a settlement there, named after the ancient Villager name for the area, Nacoria. The settlement turned into a city, and Villagers brought to the city increased the population.
After that, the Imperial Alliance laid territorial claims over the entire known world at that point and established an anarchic empire, with Nacorian City as their glorious capital. No Emperor was named and the title is currently disputed. Soon after the Empire’s formation, CanO27sprite, a prominent member of the Anti-Imperialists, was invited by the leader of the Imperial Alliance, TurtleTech_, to the Empire’s government as a non-imperialist member. CanO27sprite reluctantly agreed, hoping for peace to form between the Imperial Alliance and the Anti-Imperialists. He is currently Chancellor of Nacoria, and is head of Nacorian City’s development.
Government[edit]
The Nacorian Empire consists of two government figures, the Emperor and the Chancellor. Both titles have little political importance and serve only as propaganda figures as well as to unify the populace under one rule. The Nacorian Empire, being an anarchy, has no official laws or regulations, taxes, law enforcement, official currency, military, or government-regulated economy.
Emperor[edit]
The Emperor of Nacoria’s main role is to act as a political figure unifying the Empire, and to enforce the Imperial Alliance’s territorial claims. The Emperor lives and works in the Nacorian Capitol Building, situated on the southernmost point of Spawn and overlooking Spawn Ocean. The office is currently disputed, being claimed by TurtleTech_ and CanO27sprite.
Chancellor[edit]
The Chancellor’s main role is to oversee the development of the Empire’s infrastructure, maintain public tranquility, and serve as a propaganda figure. The current Chancellor is CanO27sprite.
Geography[edit]
Nacoria encompasses the entire world map, exactly 20,000 blocks (4,000 sq km). The land has various and vast biomes, the most common being dark oak and birch forests. Many rivers and oceans divide the lands into islands and peninsulas, where fertile soil and river valleys make the land very good for farming.

The Free-and-Open-Source Kingdom of Tuxedo, often referred to by its common name, the Kingdom of Tuxedo, was a Free Association kingdom on the CyberBean SMP 3rd Life server. It’s core policies required that all citizens use Linux and reject Windows. It had no official government, instead believing in the ability of each man and women to govern themselves under one unified name. Its citizens promoted a socialist form of living, sharing community resources and distributing wealth evenly.

“Tuxedo” comes from Tux, the Linux penguin. And because tuxedos are cool.
History[edit]
Session One[edit]
Before the Kingdom’s formation, CanO27sprite and TurtleGuy_ started on different paths, CanO27sprite being able to raid a very good blacksmith house in a nearby village, obtaining three diamonds and iron tools right away. After collecting basic materials, he set his sights on a nearby mountain, wanting to build his base there. However, on his way up the mountain he found TurtleGuy_, already starting a farm. They decided to team, considering they shared the usage of Linux. After planting some basic crops, trees, and clearing out the mountaintop, TurtleGuy_ suggested turning their alliance into an independent nation, declaring the independence of the Tuxedo Kingdom. Meanwhile, spruce wood and cobblestone were heavily imported and mined both from abroad and domestically in order to begin the development of Tuxedo’s infrastructure. By this time, other players had discovered the new kingdom but were turned down membership due to them being Windows Users. Shine_____, however, upon discovering the kingdom, threatened to go to war and skybase above the mountain capitol of Tuxedo unless the Kingdom provide him with two blaze rods, only found in the dreaded Nether Fortress, especially dangerous on this server due to a bug which spawned massive amounts of blazes and wither skeletons. Although they were eventually able to retrieve 2 rods, it cost CanO27sprite one of their lives. This put the Kingdom and Shine_____ in an alliance, albeit an uneasy one. After this, FOSS Mountain (the new name for the mountain upon which the Kingdom is located) was continued to be developed, including two massive mountainside farms to provide for some means of export, as well as a spruce megatree farm for virtually infinite wood.
Session Two[edit]
During Session Two, the one and only enchantment table on the server was up for grabs, and luckily for the kingdom TurtleGuy_ collected it first, and it was hidden under one of the farms on FOSS Mountain. After this, both TurtleGuy_ and CanO27sprite began long mining trips in order to gear up the kingdom for when red lives attack. They were able to obtain enough diamonds for two full diamond sets and enchant them via the table. By this point, Shine_____ and TustinFocus were on the search around FOSS Mountain for the Table, and to the kingdom’s dismay the table was found and stolen, but the identity of the thief could not be verified, although most evidence points to either TustinFocus or MacyIsGr88. After these events TurtleGuy_ conducted multiple spying missions on both suspects to try and identify the thief, with no luck.
The Border Control Act of 2023 and Enchantment Table Kingdom[edit]
Between Sessions 2 and 3 an official decree was proclaimed on behalf of the kingdom, establishing Tuxedo’s boundaries as controlled and limiting the amount of time foreigners could spend in the kingdom. This was due to a large amount of foreign traffic in the kingdom and loitering, as well as being a response to the enchantment table thief. The act drew criticism from TustinFocus and Shine_____ who protested that the act altered fundamental server rules and was therefore illegal, even though it clearly didn’t. TustinFocus responded with an act of his own which declared his own independence and established the enchantment table as rightfully his, but since that document clearly violated server rules, the new kingdom was deemed illegal and was not recognized.
Session Three[edit]
Session three was largely uneventful for most of the world, besides all sides preparing and gearing up for when red lives attack. In the Tuxedo Kingdom, construction on a border wall was begun to enforce the recently passed decree, and a new government plan was begun (the details of which are a closely guarded secret), the only thing known about it is that it would help the Kingdom in the final days. An iron farm was built in the Central Village and the land on which it sat was claimed by the Kingdom.
Session Four[edit]
This session was a very eventful session not only for the kingdom but the rest of the world. Besides construction on the Border Wall being completed, TustinFocus was able to pinpoint the location of a waypoint mysteriously labeled "The plan" from a leaked screenshot, and from there was able to find an unfinished minecart railway system underground leading to all the known bases. This was presumed to have to do with "The Plan" which TurtleTech_ announced in the last session. In response to this development, the kingdom ceased all operations on "The Plan" and instead announced the formation of a new plan, dubbed "The Plan 2.0," although like the last one, the official name is yet to be announced. However, construction on a large tower above FOSS Mountain, almost to height limit, began construction.
Session Five[edit]
This session was cut short due to internet issues, and the only thing that happened was further preparation for The Plan 2.0.
Session Six - The Fall of the Kingdom[edit]
During Session Six, the two de-facto alliances that were forming, the Kingdom and the Enchantment Table Alliance, began gearing up for all-out war, brewing potions, upgrading armor, and visiting the Nether. Soon enough, the Plan 2.0 was executed and the official name became known - Operation Storm. Soon after the first attack, which involved the transfer of lives to temporarily put someone on red life, a state of war existed between the two sides. However, soon after the plan's enactment, a critical life was lost during a transfer from TurtleGuy_, which ultimately led to the collapse of the Tuxedo Kingdom, effectively ending the server altogether.
Government[edit]
The Tuxedo Kingdom had no official operating government or constitution, but instead operated under a populist, socialist majority system in which there is was perpetual state of controlled anarchy. All resources and wealth were shared and all actions were taken to further the common good of the People.
Geography[edit]
Most of Tuxedo’s land was mountainous or forested. Tuxedo claimed all of FOSS Mountain and parts of the oak forest to the north, and part of the plains to the south. To its west lied Shine_____’s base. Wolves could be seen frequently in the area.
