Nagarabaviis a neighbourhood in West Bangalore on the Outer Ring Road, extending almost from Mysore Road to Magadi Road. It is bounded by Sunkadakatte and Annapoorneshwarinagar in the west, Kottigepalya in the north, Vijayanagar and Chandra layout in the east, and Mallathahalli, Papareddypalya and Ullal Upanagara in the south.

Areas Under Nagarabavi[edit]

Nagarabavi is divided into 2 stages, with the 2nd stage being the largest.

Nagarabavi 1st Stage[edit]

It subsumes areas such as Kalyananagar, Malagala and other small layouts. The National College of Law is located here which is near to the Bangalore University Jnanabarathi.

Nagarabavi 2nd Stage[edit]

This area is close to Magadi Road. Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Sir M Vishweshwarayya Institue of Technology and Vokkaligara Sangha Educational Institues are located in this part of the area.

Nagarabavi BDA Complex is the main commercial area of Nagarabavi.

Mindtree has its office in this area.

It also subsumes areas like Papareddypalya, Malagala, Annapoorneshwarinagar and Vinayaka Layout.

Karesandra, Yarab Nagar, Kaveri Nagar[edit]

Karesandra, Yarab Nagar and Kaveri Nagar are Muslim majority areas.

Kadirenahalli[edit]

Kadirenahalli is notorious for its long delayed underpass which has hampered traffic in South Bangalore. The work started in 2008 and is yet to be completed.
