Energy Juice is a product name made by Luke M. Mhirizhonga when he was developing a fruit juice based energy beverage. This was in the year 2014 as Luke was trying to create a better market for his beverages brands and differentiate his products from those already in the market. From a perspective of the growth in the functional beverages, the aim was to create an energy giving beverage which is viewed to be healthy with less sugar.

Energy Juice products are under two sub-brands of Eden Valley Beverages, namely GRIT and AUSPY. GRIT is a 40% juice content while AUSPY is 100% Juice and no sugar added. These beverages are distributed by Keripax (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa and Mnandi Trading Pvt (Ltd) in Zimbabwe.
