Tazagram is one of the biggest village in Tehsil Adenzai District Lower Dir. Tazagram is also the capital of Union Council Tazagram. It is situated on the road of Asban some 8 kms from Chakdara towards Timergara. It is surrounded by Qala Kityari village on North, Jango on South, Shah Alam Baba on East and Giro Gulono Shah on West.
Tazagram has produced Engineers, Scientists, Doctors, Businessmen, Top Government employees, Politicians. The main source of income is from agriculture or foreign remittances. Tazagram has 2 government schools for boys, 2 for girls with 3 private schools with the leading Iqra Public School since 1994. The literacy rate of Tazagram is alomost 95%.
The cream of Tazagram includes Dr. Muhammad Idrees (VC Hazara University), Syed Muharram Shah ( Chief PESCO), Ahmad Ali (Atomic Energy) Rai Shah ( Government employee & Social Worker), Altaf Hussain ( Social Worker & Politician), Iqbal Shah ( Educationist & Social Worker), Rehyash Shah ( Educationist & Principal Gulabad College).
The leading political party is Jamat Islami while the other includes Qoumi Watan Party and Pakistan Peoples Party. People are also affiliated to ANP and PML(N).
The rising youth of Tazagram includes Ihsanullah (Chairman UC Tazagram) and Mohammad Ishaq ( Social Worker and a Business Graduate).
