Michael Scott McCain(born July 22, 1983) is an African American businessman and author. His first book "10 To Get In: The Ten Laws of Financial Literacy for Young Aspiring Millionaires" targets an audience looking for modern examples of successful maneuvers made by extremely noteworthy and influential people. Ten To Get In: The Ten Laws of Financial Literacy for Young Aspiring Millionaires was written to be a 100 page guide for young entrepreneurs.

Early life & career[edit]

Michael was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he graduated from Crenshaw High School. Michael always wanted to be a doctor as a child. But as he got older, Michael had a great admiration for Oprah Winfrey's accomplishments and resilience. Michael one day hoped to be as down to earth, wealthy, and powerful as the queen of television. After graduating from Crenshaw High School moved on to Cal State Los Angeles to study finance. After transferring to University of Pheonix he received his Bachelors Degree in Finance as well as his MBA. Previously Michael worked in the mortgage industry from 2002 until the recession in 2007 at when he decided to go back to school. While studying for his MBA he worked as a real estate broker. As an adult, Michael reveres Oprah's confidence to move into a position of ownership as he wishes to teach his readers alike how to move from being a worker, to having your "OWN". Those inspired from books such as 48 Laws of Power, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and Rich Dad, Poor Dad will appreciate this modern approach to understanding financial literacy.
