I am a former pianist and teacher and for many years have been a computer composer in the classical style. I have done editing of some pages which are apt to be on musical subjects but are,by no means, restricted to those. I have made many contributions over the years, many of which have been agreed to but certainly not all of them.

My aims, in editing pages, are to make sure meanings are grammatically clear and to avoid "howlers' where I notice they exist (and I have noticed many!).Ed (talk) 21:21, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

I strongly recommend that someone create a page for Ruthanna Boris, the ballerina and choreographer. She is mentioned as a favorite dance partner of Leon Danielian and I recall seeing her in a wheelchair when I did a gig (in Stony Brook, L.I.?) with another pianist, Sam Pottle, (a Yale classmate) at which time I also saw André Eglevsky the dancer.

I'm at a loss to write the article myself as I have no dance background; my initial interest in Miss Boris is her ballet "Cakewalk" which is based partly on music of Louis Moreau Gottschalk of which I did a piano recording for Musical Heritage Society many years ago.Ed (talk) 16:51, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
