Planets[edit]

Where are you getting all of these planets from?  :) In the future, if you ever create an article (225272) 2009 SE76, would you use {{DISPLAYTITLE:}} to format the title correctly. Please reply so that I know you read this. Thank you.  Btilm  02:45, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Rollback Request[edit]

Hello! I respectfully request rollback rights. I have been active as a recent change and new page patroller, on and off, for a couple of years now. I mostly use WP:TWINKLE, but sometimes (i.e., work) I can't use a compatible browser. I invite you to review my contributions as a record of my vandal-fighting ways. Thanks for taking the time to consider my request! --SquidSK (1MClog) 01:44, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks much! --SquidSK (1MClog) 01:52, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Displaytitle[edit]

That's great! In the future, you might want to use my tool. It has two tabs. One removes the displaytitle tag on the page and one will add it (you will see the tabs when you are editing the page). It is at user:btilm/displaytitle.js. If you need more info you know how to contact me. Btilm 05:07, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Note[edit]

Hi, and thanks for your edits (I notice you've been here a long time, and that's great). Just a note that we no longer link dates, per WP:MOSNUM. Cheers, Dabomb87 (talk) 23:32, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Aber Clydach[edit]

You created Aber Clydach in 2005. Do you have a clue where it is ... any chance of latitude & longitude, e.g. from multimap? --Tagishsimon (talk) 19:22, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Merovingian! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 13 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 964 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Hi! I started to add a stub for Pliny Chase, and Wikipedia said that you had deleted an article about him for copyright violations, which is reasonable, but it also said to contact you. Is there something special I should do to resurrect the page with new content? Thanks!

Greetings, Program! I also respectfully request rollback rights, as it sounds like something that would make reverting vandalism a far easier task. Feel free to take a look at my contribs, and let me know either way? If not, no worries. Thanks! Hiroe (talk) 20:57, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

WikiProject Saskatchewan Newsletter February 2010[edit]

Hello and welcome back to the WikiProject Saskatchewan newsletter! I, User:Presidentman, am the new editor. You may see some changes due to the fact it's my first newsletter. I'm just going easy on myself, but it will get more complex as time goes on.

  • Newsletter archives
    • Newsletter archives are listed since the conception of the wikiproject and show the evolution of Saskatchewan WikiProject and Saskatchewan articles on Wikipedia. Please feel free to contribute to the Next Issue! Any and all contributions are welcome.

  • Welcome
  • We’re excited to announce that User:Presidentman has joined WikiProject Saskatchewan as our Editor in Chief. Presidentman will oversee editorial content and the Saskatchewan Wikiproject community contributions on the Wikiproject newsletter. Presidentman has also successfully developed the Picture of the Day project and has been active on wikipedia for close to three years in a plethora of projects enriching wikipedia with close to 3,000 contributions. The transition between our old editor and the new has been smoother than any of us could have hoped for — SriMesh wrote their last newsletter article for January, 2010, and Presidentman started up without missing a beat for February 2010. The previous years for SriMesh, the past editor, had been richly rewarding, seeing subscriptions grow, informing interested editors of developments and changes to the Saskatchewan wikipedia community and supporting activities on the Saskatchewan Wikiproject. It is now time for me to move to new writing projects to finish, and further responsibilities which are vying for my attention. Please join me in welcoming Presidentman to the their new position! Presidentman is working on a host of new features and an updated look, which will take things to a new level. It is wonderful to have a new editor to bring in the new year! Expect great things.
Welcome Presidentman, and best wishes!
Your wonderful act of kindness to take on editorial capacity of the Saskatchewan Wikiproject news letter is much appreciated! Thank you so much!!!

Kind Regards, SriMesh | talk 18:36, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Tim Masthay[edit]

I have nominated Tim Masthay, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tim Masthay. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Rollback Request[edit]

Hello. I'm a new recent changes patroller. I respectfully request rollback rights. I have been using Wikipedia for a while, but just recently created an account to try to help remove vandalism. After reading some articles is sounds like rollback rights makes it easier to remove vandalism. Thanks for your time. Traxs7 (talk) 14:52, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

GNIS detail[edit]

I see you are creating many articles which use the U.S. Geological Survey, Geographic Names Information System as a supporting reference. This is a valid reference and it supports your efforts. There is a statement in bold red letters on the pages you cite which says "Stop! Do not bookmark or copy/paste this URL before reading FAQs". You should perhaps read the suggested FAQ because your references will become invalid within a short time period. Regards.My76Strat (talk) 03:24, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

You are obviously more computer literate than me, and perhaps your reasoning is sound. The statements on the GNIS FAQ page which gave me concern Follow:

"When you log on, the system adds temporary session identification numbers to the URL, so it looks like this:

http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnispublic/f?p=921:10:6315419807150552990

If you bookmark or copy and paste this entire URL with numbers, it will not work in the future. Delete all after the word “gnispublic.” The correct URL is:

http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnispublic". I brought this to your attention because I noticed you are rather active and if this was a problem, it was compounded by repetition. I suppose time will tell the actual tale. In the mean time, happy editing. My76Strat (talk) 03:53, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Esther (novel)[edit]

The article Esther (novel) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Novel which fails WP:GNG and WP:NB.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Claritas § 11:57, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
