hiya, i'm Melecie! i'm a troper with really inconsistent activity. i mostly work on fixing typos, helping other troperd, and on occasion cleaning up messes from others. i don't really make tropes myself (or work pages), since i like to do the little things to make everything better.

my life has been ruined by more than TV Tropes: i can also be found in The Other Wiki, plenty of YouTube comments sections, Reddit (as /u/SoaPuffball), GitHub, and probably lots of other sites. if someone has the username "Melecie", "MelecieDiancie", "SoaPuffball", or "IridescentClairvoyancie" with a Diancie pfp, it's almost certainly me. I am also active in Discord at meleciediancie / soapuffball#3625, if you ever share a server with that person you know who to DM.
I use UTC+8 (not stating which country though!) and may be active anytime between 0:00 and 14:00 UTC (8:00 and 10:00 UTC+8). I also have horribly consistent activity, which means I can be extremely active for a month only to lapse to ~25 in the next few.

Tropes [edit]
- Ambiguous Gender Identity: Since on the internet, nobody knows you're a dog.
- Catchphrase:
- Anything on being the purplest heart.
- "✨m a g i c✨", with the sparkles, which I use to explain unexplainable stuff.
- Variations on "too classy to swear" in occasion.
- When asked about what something is, "something is something" would be a common response.
- Editcountitis: I don't check my edit count that often, but I check it often enough.
- I Just Like Saying The Word: There's an entire glossary's worth of unusual, pretty-to-say words I like to use if I could. Like sonder. Or vivacious. Or fawn. Downplayed as I don't get to use them most of the time.
- Magical Profanity Filter: Not literally, although I like to say my mind autocorrects swears out of my writings and (usually) words.
- Pronoun Trouble: Defied! I started accepting any and all pronouns partly because of my Ambiguous Gender Identity, partly because I don't even know how to describe myself.
- Say It with Hearts 💜
- Shout Out: I will reference To the Moon or its sequels at least once.
- WikiGnome: How I edit wikis often. As mentioned above, I like to do small edits everywhere.
- Wikipediholism: Zig-zagged. Sometimes really active and obsessed, sometimes never active.
