An Introduction

My style of writing is very contrary to that which is expected within an encyclopedia. One day I will have an honest try at writing an article and I'll bet within minutes it gets torn to shreds by the powers that be. Opinion is more my gambit in the literary form, and it has no place here.

No problem. I happen to be a reasonable photographer, and I love putting video together from special spots I have encountered around the world. Objectivity in these mediums seems less of a slippery slope for me.

I would like very much to be more involved with this project. Whenever I spend time with Wikipedia I am reminded of Isaac Asimov's Foundation series, where the repository of galactic knowledge is stolen away on a planet near the end of the cosmos for safe keeping.

I am new here, and please don't be shy to help me out and let me know if you happen to notice that I am screwing up the works.

Also, I have thousands of photos from all over Canada (where I am from) and Central and South America. I never know which ones to pick for adding to the commons, so I would gladly take requests if there is someone is looking for something specific.
