Svyatoslav Ivanovich Bunyaev (born August 30, 1960) is a Russian media executive, the founder and chief executive officer of «Setevisor» company
Biography[edit]
Svyatoslav Bunyaev was born in Baku. His parents were immigrants from the Belgorod and Saratov region, USSR.
Education[edit]
He graduated from High School № 200 in Baku. In 1978—1983 he was a student of Bauman Moscow State Technical University and graduated it with specialization «robotics and automation systems».
The start of a career[edit]
From 1983 to 1989 he worked as a researcher at MSTU in laser technology and robotics. As a result there were two patents in testing methods of composite materials by a laser.
From 1989 to 1992 he was the a VP of «Fort- Info» — software development company. In 1991 after acquisition into «Slavtech», he took position of Executive Manager of innovation developments.
USA[edit]
In 1993 he received an invitation from american company «PDA Associates» to work in USA. In the period of 1994 to 1995 he worked on new wireless technologies and then on business development for ethnic markets in Bay Area(«Cellular One of San Francisco» , Burlingame, California, USA).
In 1996—1998 worked as business development manager of the company «Cyperion» (Sunnyvale, CA USA). He was in charge of development — Internet Security Access (Fingerprint Identification & Face Recognition) and Voice over IP solutions.
In 1999 he took the position CIO — Head of software development at «Edgenet Communication» (Burlingame, Silicon Valley, CA USA) and he was in charge for network software solutions development (Burlingame, Silicon Valley, CA USA).
Television[edit]
In the period of 2002 to 2009 worked as VP of the RTRN (Russian TV-Radio Network). He was responsible for business development and implementation of new technologies and also for management of broadcasting network in Russia.
In 2010 Mr. Bunyaev launched a «Setevisor» as a hi-tech development company with innovative solutions, that enable broadcasters and content providers to distribute and manage their video content to media market. Setevisor’s proprietary P2P streaming technology (patent No: 2465638) is unique in its ability to distribute high-quality media content with interactive features over the Internet to a large number of simultaneous viewers at a low cost, compared to CDN services.
In 2011 Mr. Bunyaev launches the first interactive TV channel in Russia — OnlineTV.ru. The interactive multiscreen solution at OnlineTV.ru allows users to be «directors» of their viewing experience by Setevisor’s virtual-split-screen technology (patent No:135870). Also Setevisor’s interactive tools allows viewers to interact with TV content by using features video-audio calls to TV studio (not Skype), voting and quizzes. OnlineTV.ru is designed for a various audience. There are TV shows for people who are interested in politics, economics, education, entertainment, etc.

- Bunyaev’s team was the first in USSR who created a powerful software supplement «Paramaster» for application «AutoCAD». In 1989 for this achievement he was awarded by State Committee of Computing Machinery and Informatics (USSR).
- In 1994 was one a few who developed algorithm «E-commerce engine» that later became the main in commercial transactions over the Internet.
- Was the head of the state project of transition into digital terrestrial television broadcasting in the Russian Federation.
- From 2005 to 2008 was the RTRN official representative at European Broadcasting Union.
