Librarian, bibliophile, Archaeologist, mother, sci-fi nerd, Boggle fiend. Born in Colorado, I moved around a lot living in England, Ireland, Finland, China and finally Australia (for 28 years). I returned to the US 4 years ago.

My biggest passion is collecting books. From British Private Press, Dickens, works illustrated by Arthur Rackham and first edition Mary Stewart titles, I collect them all!

I work at the beautiful San Juan Island Library in Washington State where I am manager of all publicity, programs/events, website, online resources, staff training, reference and local history.

I, User:Lesbaker am an employee of San Juan Island Library, a tiny island public library, and am dedicated to providing broad access to library resources for a remote community. I will not make any edits that would not be beneficial to the goals of Wikipedia.

I have inserted links to other Wikipedia pages in my profile. I will modify my editing behavior based on problems cited by other editors or if my editing conflicts with other Wikipedia guidelines.
