I am a geologist and a - since April 2015 - retired professor of physical geology and global cycles.
My fields of interests are the early ocean, stromatolites, alkaline lakes, biogeochemistry of rivers , the global carbon cycle, and speleology (lava and gypsum caves, speleogenesis, history of cave science).
