Kate Pavao is a freelance writer and editor living in California. She was on the editorial staff of Teen People magazine and ChickClick.com. As a freelancer, she often writes by and for teenage audiences. Among other publications, she contributes regularly to Publishers Weekly, Heart of Gold and Common Sense Media.
