Zhen Yingmei (Chinese: 震應魅; pinyin: Zhèn Yīngmèi; born: 13 July 1993), better known as Jenny, is a Chinese red crown crane who resides in Draketown, Saint Titus and Cyril. She is a corporate lawyer and company secretary for GerVal Sports Centre in Draketown, Saint Titus and Cyril.

Biography[edit]

Jenny is born in the Chinese border town of Heihe, Heilongjiang province on 13 July 1993. She is of Han Chinese and Manchu descent. Her father, Zhen Hua (震华), is the owner of a trading company and local committee member of the Chinese Communist Party, and her mother, Lü Meiyu (呂美懿) is an optometrists. Jenny moved to Harbin, where she attended primary and secondary school. Zhen also joined the Young Pioneers of China at the age of 7. She adopted Jenny as her nickname sometime in 2002 during an English class. Jenny excelled in her studies, but as she was normally second or third best in class, her parents often beat her as a child for not being the best.

In 2010, Jenny completed her gaokao with an outstanding score of 640 out of 750 at the age of 17, landing her an unconditional offer to study at the prestigious Peking University Law School in Beijing. Jenny obtained a degree in Bachelor of Laws in 2013. Despite her father's objections, in the same year, Jenny enrolled at the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford, completing her masters in business law. In 2015, she joined Headington & Riley, a private law firm based in the the United Kingdom and several Caribbean nations where she became assistant solicitor as part of her vocational training.

Jenny made a significant breakthrough in her career in February of 2018, when she deputised her company's legal director who was involved in a freak traffic accident in Turks and Caicos Islands. Despite being a trainee, she successfully defended her client, Gervas (the CEO and president of GerVal Sports Centre), who was summoned to court in late 2017 for charges of tax evasion. In July of 2018, GerVal Sports Centre vs STC Revenue Services was ruled in favour of Gervas, and all charges of tax evasion was dropped. Impressed with her abilities, Gervas hired Jenny to become GerVal Sports Centre's company secretary in 2019.

Personal life[edit]

Jenny resides in a medium sized bungalow in the semi-affluent Coyle's Ground Compound, north of Draketown in Saint Titus and Cyril. She is a member and regular golfer of the Millom Golf Club, one of the oldest golf courses on STC. She drives a black Nissan Sentra.

While Jenny remains a member of the Chinese Communist Party, she is largely inactive. She is a member of Lincoln's Inn.

Jenny is close friends with Irda whom she regularly coaches golf to the latter (usually with mixed results). An empathetic spirit, she treats her friends as much as she defends her clients in courts.
