Irda (French pronunciation: [iʁda]; born: 20 April 1996) is a European dragon and French illustrator, graphic artist, journalist and columnist for left-wing tabloid Un Saint-Cyrillien dans Enfer based in Saint Titus and Cyril. Irda is known for her domineering, if not bratty personality which she manifests in her political positions and her personal life. She is currently the girlfriend of Kedran.
Biography[edit]
Irda is the youngest child of three. Born in Gap, France, she lived most of her childhood an alpine life. She moved to Paris when she was 6, and began her elementary education in a prestigious school. However, Irda was expelled a year later due to frequent fights with classmates, many of whom teased her for her Provençal accent. She then moved to London and attended French international school for the next 11 years. Irda was known for her excessive partying, absence from class and general disobedience. During her secondary school years, she had no less than four relationships. Despite receiving low grades, Irda obtained her baccalauréat in literature.
At 18, Irda attended the Manchester School of Art. Her undergraduate studies invigorated her interests in politics and tabloid journalism. In 2016, she became an illustrator for YetItsLate, a start-up gossip magazine involving political controversies and scandals. In 2017, Irda became a member of Europe Ecology – The Greens.
After graduating, she moved to Saint Titus and Cyril where she stayed with her friend, Valexia, for a few months. It was around this time she also began a relationship with Kedran, a musician and author she met at a restaurant. In 2018, she became an illustrator and journalist for Un Saint-Cyrillien dans Enfer (The Saint Cyrillian in Hell) by recommendation of Thana, a raven.
Personal life[edit]
Irda lives with her boyfriend, Kedran, in a two-storey semi-detached house west of Draketown in Galet-sur-la-Autel in St. Luke parish. Aside from her work, Irda enjoys sudoku, video games, hiking, rock climbing and cycling. Irda describes herself as a "green liberal socialist", and frequently posts journals of anticapitalistic views on her blog, IrdaRee. Irda is a staunch advocate for car-free societies. She describes herself as spiritual but not religious, and takes interest in Vajrayana Buddhism and tantric sex, something which Kedran calls it 'cringe'.
She is currently on a one-year suspension of her driver's license for numerous parking and traffic offences resulting in damage to private property.
Irda has a dominant personality and often ends up creating many rivals even within friendships. Her steadfast, yet bull-headed nature often puts her at odds with people physically stronger than her.
Along with Kedran, she frequently travels the world, having visited 137 different countries by 2022.
