Hi, I'm an electronics and microcontroller s/w designer from Auckland NZ. Born in SE UK, emigrated to NZ when I was 16. Have a degree in Industrial Chemistry from AUT Auckland. I am a consultant for the Auckland Inventors Club, using my interests in woodwork, metalwork, firmware, electronics and general DIY to help develop prototypes. I've an interest in animals, mostly domestic cats and goldfish, for which I've built more than one pond. I've been a member of Mensa NZ (currently lapsed) for many years and used to contribute a cryptic crossword for the monthly Menzed magazine. My entertainment tastes are varied, from UK humour of the 1940s to the present, and stand-up. Musically I prefer 60's and 70's rock/jazz and classical, generally 19th and early 20th century. And I'm mostly a cyclist
