Musical Background[edit]
I was born in Prague, Czech Republic in 1978. I started to play the piano at the age of five and trombone at the age of twelve. After graduating from high school I decided to study jazz and classical performance at the Jaroslav Jezek Conservatory in Prague. During my studies I became a member of the Czech Radio Bigband and performed with many jazz and pop artists on the Czech scene. In 2007, I made a recording with Yvonne Sanchez called ‘My Garden’ which was nominated for the album of the year 2008 in the Czech Republic. I currently study, perform and teach in the Boston area.

There is a little bit of all styles in my music, there is joy and sadness, there is all my life, my family, my friends, my teachers, my students and my fellow musicians.
