I'm a journalist, second generation Indian, late thirties, born in Birmingham, UK, raised Sikh, an atheist since about aged 10. Live in West London. Cyclist, runner, reader of fiction and reportage, and a part-time film buff (I especially enjoy watching cinema from places we rarely get to see, ie not Hollywood, or Mumbai).

I got into using Wikipedia after the John Seigenthaler controversy.

I should say I wouldn't recommend jaywalking but I like the word, and in particular the sentiment (referred to in the jaywalking entry) that we need to reclaim the streets.
