The Illinois Fall Nationals is a race, sanctioned by UMP, that is held annually, usually in September or October.

2007-2008[edit]

Due to a disagreement between the promoter, and the Illinois State Fairgrounds, the Illinois Fall Nationals were moved from the Springfield Mile, to LaSalle Speedway, in LaSalle, Illinois. The 2008 version of the race features a $7,000 to win purse.

VanWormer joined an all-star list of drivers who have won the prestigious Illinois Fall Nationals since 1992, including 2005 WoO LMS champion Billy Moyer (four times), Brian Birkhofer (three times), 2004 WoO LMS titlist Scott Bloomquist (twice), John Mason (twice), Charlie Swartz, Shannon Babb, Darrell Lanigan and Darren Miller.[1]
