Peter Shalvoy is a celebrity disc jockey (“DJ”) headquartered out of Manhattan, New York City, New York and Las Vegas, Nevada. Beginning his career in 1995, his clientele rank among the glitterati of American entertainment. During the early days of his career, Shalvoy played legendary clubs like Nell's, Mars and Lucky Strike. He toured the U.S. with The Soupdragons, Tom Tom Club, and Black Sheep.[1]

An artist and producer in his own right, Peter is the CEO & President of Shalvoy Music. Known in the music industry for his open-format sets, heavy in house, nu disco, electro and classics, he has jockeyed nightclubs such as 1Oak, 105 Riv, Bar 675, 48 Lounge, Bungalow 8, Cain, Centrofly, Crobar, Hiro Ballroom, Kiss and Fly, Le Royale, Lotus, Marquee, Mohegan Sun, PM, Room Service, Serena, Tao, The Box, and Tribeca Grand Hotel, among others in New York City. He also jockeys Atlanta, the Hamptons, Las Vegas, and Miami. He was the original Resident, DJ, for Cain at the Cove, Atlantis Resort, Bahamas, creating its vibration, or “vibe”. [2]

He practices cross-genre, expert in house, nu disco, electro, 80's, classics and hip hop.[3] Among his clients are Madonna, Pete Townsend, Paul McCartney, Janet Jackson, Steve Buscemi, Bobby Flay, Stephanie March, and Donald Trump. He is a regular in Manhattan entertainment news features, such as Good Day New York with Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto. Shalvoy regards himself as a “sound stylist” for the Blue Ribbon restaurants, frequented by Diddy, Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey, Mos Def, DJ Clue and President Bill Clinton. Will Ferrell was so impressed after a Saturday night session at Marquee, he gave a big shout out to Shalvoy's alter ego 'DJ Porkchop' during his TRL award acception speech. Bobby Flay uses Peter Shalvoy exclusively to DJ all his important events, none more special then his wedding to actress Stephanie March. ShalvoyMusic was played the 're-grand opening' of Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.[4]
