around mar2008, the article started to look more like the article it is today-- sections on 'toughening' and 'effect of pressure' were added. however, at this point, there are still no references
around apr2008, a user Peterlewis added a reference that he had written
around feb2017, the article became what is looks like today. i don't think many major changes have occurred since then

i noticed there are only about 500 or fewer edits total to this article
big edit made in aug2006. pretty messy and oddly organised, but still quite far from what the article is today. it really looks like there's completely different content. there's a quantum entanglement mention
almost all of above edit was undone in feb2007 since it was unsourced. article is pretty bare again
checkin at apr2008- the 'see also' list feels nearly as long as the whole article
may2010 was when the durkheim theory section makes its first appearance. other sections still to come
almost nothing happens for about 8 years except i think the 'other uses of the term' section is slowly growing. like a mould
nov2018 user Raam Ravi makes the collective consciousness article what is is today. added pretty much all the other sections that are still there today. not many big edits have happened since then
