Mid 40's white guy living in Seattle. Married, no kids, loves dogs, hates cats on general principle, and working for a branch of one of the largest companies in the world that isn't Boeing, Microsoft, or Nintendo.

I'm an atheist, and I mean that in the strongest sense possible. I'm an engineer, and hold liberal arts types in total contempt.

Interests

• Martial arts - been training since 1985
• Scuba diving
• Cooking - primarily Italian, French and American dishes, but have been known to try about anything
• Food - started out with American culinary staples, but have since branched out to include dishes from the world
• Beer snob
• Wine - an interest that I came by later in life when I could finally afford wine I enjoyed
• World travel - frequent flier miles will get you places on the cheap
• Reading - I have read, at a conservative estimate, at least 4000 books
