Goluguri Bapiraju (Feb 16,1923 – Jan 1994). Founder of Goluguri Bapiraju Educational Institutions also know as GBR Colleges and Anaparthi Educational Scociety. He is an Indian, Philanthropist, Activist, Potential Ruler Maker, Social Worker, Contributor of Women Education and supported women empowerment ^[1]. He developed Anaparthi with his own contributions and supported the upcoming generations in Anaparthi

Biography[edit]

Bapi Raju was born in Anaparthi, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. He was a potential King Maker, Philanthropist and Activist of Anaparthi, GBR was the head of Reddy community group of Andhra Pradesh . He fabricated sanctuaries, streets, transport protect, and numerous more for the improvement of the village Anaparthi. He was the main individual in the town to contribute his life for the advancement of his kin. He gave his own property to fabricate GBR Educational establishments. GBR isolated Anaparthi voting demographic from Mandapeta voting public, the explanation behind isolating the voting demographic was to maintain a strategic distance from position fights between individuals, for that he hungered strike and isolated Anaparthi body electorate which is currently additionally called as Reddy's Constituency.

Early life and Business[edit]

His Family is the wealthiest and well noted family in the state. Goluguri Family belongs to the Reddy Rajas dynasty. Even the names of his ancestors are mentioned in the Reddy Rajas history. Goluguri's were land lords and cultivation was their primary business. later GBR started his first rice process industry which was the first ever to be built in the entire East Godavri District. Agriculture being their primary business they also started the first poultry industry in the district. After all the agriculture ventures GBR wanted to start a new business apart from agriculture, so came up with the idea of land layout business. He divided his own land in to plots and sold these plots to individuals who are in need of land, however around then no was keen on plots and didn't know its estimation. so he sold the land at exceptionally less expensive rates around then now similar plots esteem a considerable measure and all people who got them with faltering and regard for GBR are glad as a result of the higher land incentive in the present days

Marriage and children[edit]

GBR had two life partners veerajamma and Hussainbee. Hussainbee being a muslim changed over to Christianity and filled in as village president to support the poor and upheld Christianity. Hinduism, Christianity and Muslimism are in bond with Goluguri family. He has twelve kids and out all of the {children} simply one child terminated up being his beneficiary and next in line that's Mr. Goluguri Ashok Reddy.(Born: 02/08/1954)

Death and afterward[edit]

After his death people of Anaparthi still remembers him and follows his ideals and perspectives in development and social service. People of Anaparthi also constructed a statue for Goluguri Bapiraju in his own visionary college as a respect for his sacrifice and contributions made by him. Even though many rich individuals exist in Anaparthi village no had till now contributed the way Mr. Goluguri Bapiraju and his son Goluguri Ashok Reddy. After his death his son in law took over his college by force and living off its profits to feed his self satisfactions. After all the contributions and sacrifice he had done, only one assume that he could not win is that his son Goluguri Ashok Reddy sacrificed loads for his visions to become reality and at the time of his last moments he felt terribly unhealthy that could not save or develop his son's career and requested some people to require care of him, however nobody cared for his last want.

Philosophical and/or political views[edit]

He always wanted his village Aanaparthi to be recognised as the most developed in the country for that he contributed many and sacrificed so much. He always encouraged many sports and other social service activities. He is fond of educated people and has a very special respect for those who are educated. He loved education and believed education is the only way for any one to develop in life, because of his love towards education he did hunger stirke and started government aided colleges. He also elected others apart from his relatives as peoples representatives in Andhra Politics, despite of his influence and following he has. Even today any politician who wants to be elected in Aanaparthi voting demographic must referred by Goluguri Family and without the support from Goluguri Family no one will be elected, Which enlightens the Goluguri's reputation in public. ^[2]
