Welcome to my groovy garage hideout! My name is Garagepunk66. Dig this... I'm a vintage 60's car, and I love to cruise around on Wiki. I've left a few tire tracks in a couple of places. I'm interested in music, literature, film, arts, architecture, automobiles, and culture, as well as history and current events. But, take extra care that no bad additives or chemicals ever get poured into my engine. I only like the best stuff (i.e. retro/"cool"). But, if it is new, it better be good, if you're gonna play it on my A.M. radio or make me watch it on that drive-in screen. However, I've become aware of the need to be environmentally conscious. So, only take me on a Sunday drive (or on Friday night when you're makin' the scene). The rest of the time it's OK to drive your Prius. Sincerely, GP66

Proverbs: "The sources are the maps, not the destination." "The one thing more important than reliable sources is a team of reliable editors." Guiding principles: 1) I try to treat people with dignity and respect. I believe in listening to and working with other editors in a spirit of collegiality, even when I happen to disagree with intelligent well-intentioned people. I try to seek to find a mutually beneficial consensus with other editors. 2) Except in extreme cases, I generally oppose deletion of articles and believe that improving an article on an obscure topic is preferable to destroying it.

Est omnino difficile iudicare inclusionis meritum cuiusdam rei in encyclopædia cum ratio sciendi quid populi referat incerta sit, sed nihilominus aliquid encyclopædiam dedecet

It is generally difficult to judge the worthiness of a particular topic for inclusion in an encyclopedia considering that there is no certain way to know what interests people, but some topics nevertheless are not fit for an encyclopedia.

This motto reflects the desire of these Wikipedians to be reluctant, but not entirely unwilling, to remove articles from Wikipedia.
