Magda Borowiecka is a Polish-born British architect. She is best known for her role in designing Southwyck House.

Early life and education[edit]

Borowiecka was born in Poland

After leaving school, she attended the Polish School of Architecture in London.[1]

Career[edit]

Her first job at Lambeth Council was on Southwyck House.[1] Construction work on Southwyck House started in 1972, the same month that the motorway plans were abandoned. It was completed as Lambeth Council had already set aside £20 million for the project.

Borowiecka also designed Dunbar Dunelm Estate, a 10-acre estate in West Norwood which replaced Westcott Terrace
