Cyclops Gear Inc. is an American Wearable technology company best known for their camera-embedded sunglasses and their sponsorship of NASCAR races including the Indianapolis 500.

History[edit]

Mark Krause founded Cyclops Gear in 2013. Driven by his passion for adventure and outdoor sports Mark set out to design easy to use devices that allow one to capture life's adventures. The result was wearable video recording devices that were lightweight, but capable of high-definition video capture in 360 degrees.[1]

Product Line[edit]

Cyclops Gear is known for their line of sunglasses and goggles, which have build-in cameras allowing for hands free recording.[2] It also manufactures wearable action cameras that are capable of 360 panoramic video recording and include built in Wi-Fi that allows one to control it remotely using an app.[3][4]

Sponsorship[edit]

Cyclops Gear has created partnerships and sponsored athletes providing the funding necessary to enter competitions put on by NASCAR and other corporations including the Indianapolis 500.[5]
