Memoira is a progressive metal band formed in Pori, Finland in 2001 by Marko Heurlin and Jani Puusa under the name Serene. Over the next few years the band grew as they added more musicians. In 2007 original singer Maija Saari was replaced by Jemina Pitkälä and the band changed it's name to Memoira. In 2008 Memoira released their self-titled album under Nightmare Records.
