Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 65.97.42.51 . This is my home (house - dwelling - where I live and sleep) address. Has anyone ever tried to plug 65.97.42.51 in a web browser to see that nothing comes out of it? Emdx (talk) 00:11, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

"Place any further information here" doesn't really tell me much in the way of further information, such as what it is if it's not a web host. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:44, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Charter[edit]

You claim the notwithstanding clause is there to allow the West to deny language rights. This is false. The language rights in sections 16 to 22 apply to the feds and New Brunswick, not the West. Section 23 does apply to the West, but it can't be denied through the notwithstanding clause. CanadianCaesar The Republic Restored 02:15, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:NouvelleLigneThornton.gif[edit]

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:NouvelleLigneThornton.gif. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Note that any unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Telso 07:44, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Silver Streak[edit]

Thanks; the photo I saw was pretty bad. Is it really preserved or just sitting somewhere. Who/what actually owns the lead. From what I saw I don't think it will ever run again. They'll still be showing that movie 50 years from now. It's too bad someone didn't have the foresight to try and stick some of it in a museum somewhere.

Silver Streak II[edit]

It's also listed on the CPR page. Want to change that too?

Linotype keyboard[edit]

If you took that picture, just added to EAOIN SHRDLU, you need to say so on the photo page and give a copyright notice - otherwise somebody will come along and delete it. - DavidWBrooks 23:03, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You did that already - my error, I missed it. Good job. - DavidWBrooks 17:52, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:BuddMichelineLafayette.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BuddMichelineLafayette.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:05, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ArcherKlingonTribunal.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ArcherKlingonTribunal.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:05, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:BuickSkylark1954 StLambert 20090524-131647.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BuickSkylark1954 StLambert 20090524-131647.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:08, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lansdowne Street has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication or evidence of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for September 3[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Yoyodyne, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tagalog (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
