Port Hope Public Library

About[edit]

Port Hope has two public libraries, both located in Northumberland County in Ontario, Canada. Both branches offer a range of materials and activities for over 16,000 members of the public public including local children, young adults and seniors. The Port Hope Public library branches describe their mission as "a commitment to equitable and open access to all resources". [1]

  • The Mary J. Benson Branch (Est. 1913) 
  • Garden Hill Branch (joined the Port Hope Public libraries in 2000). Formerly belonging to the Northumberland County Library System.
