Rafa Esparza is to be the ages between 41-42 (1981 or 1982) and born in Pasadena, California. Rafa is a queer Chicano and artist from Los Angeles.[1] Both of Rafa's parents were born in Mexico. He attended East Los Angeles College and then earned his degree in Bachelors in Fine Arts degree at UCLA.[1]

Work[edit]

Rafa Esparza is an artist that specializes in Adobe and other mediums. Other mediums consist of sculpture, drawing, painting, and installation and performance.[1] Esparza's work are known for winning the annual prize, art in America, and The Brown Project. Esparza's work is also known for masculinity, race, Latino family tradition, and sexuality.[2]

Accomplishments[edit]

Rafa Esparza has been a part of many art shows. Not only has been part of these shows, but has won many awards and Fellowships. Lastly, accomplishments also lead him to have solo exhibitions and has had him recognized in articles. Listed below are ten accomplishments:
