Lecturer in Electronics and Sound at the University of Derby. User and developer of Ambisonics, publishing a method of optimising Ambisonic decoders for irregular arrays using heuristic search algorithms (a modified Tabu search in this case) in 2003 [1] and later extended to higher order irregular decoders in 2004[2]. Author of the WigWare Ambisonic VST plug-ins, released in 2006 which have been used commercially at music festivals, in live concerts and in computer game 3D audio production[3]
