Slipknot Copyedit[edit]

Hello there! I am contacting you as I found you on the LOCE Members list. Back in december I submitted a request for the article Slipknot (band) to be copyeditted. Since which time one user has said that they would help, however they have since not responded. So I was wondering if I could make a personal request for you to copyedit the article? I would greatly appreciate it because I feel the information is of FA status but I am not the best of writers, which is clear. Thanks in advance for any help you may give. WP:FICT[edit]

It was a pleasure to see you contributing to WP:WIAGA again recently. I noticed your contributions a year ago when I was something of a newbie!

I've added a comment to WP:FICT in the hope that a good guideline can be pulled out of the recent period of intensive editing and discussion. I hope we can work together on this, as even though we've not interacted much, my impression is that we see eye-to-eye on a number of issues. Geometry guy 20:54, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Re: editor review[edit]

Thanks for the compliments dude. Watch for my next RfA, it'll be a fun time (hopefully - more like grueling I'm sure). Absolutely correct about my taste in music too, which leads me to inform you that Neil Peart (nominated by yours truly) is currently up for FAC. I still have some work to do apparently. DotA FAC[edit]

Thanks for the review! I believe I have addressed your grammar issues, if you would like to take another look. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 20:53, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

List of horror film killers[edit]

I asked Bignole if I should put this up for AFD, and he said I might want to ask you first. What do you think?--CyberGhostface (talk) 17:35, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

SSBM FAC[edit]

Hello there. Thanks for taking the time to review the article. I've addressed your concerns now. Thanks. Ashnard Talk Contribs 07:55, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Final Fantasy V[edit]

Yeah, tackling those objections would be awesome, some of them I disagree with and others I'm not quite sure how to address. I'm going to work on Final Fantasy XI tonight, but I've only done a little thus far with FFV. Thanks for the help in advance :) Judgesurreal777 (talk) 17:29, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Yay! FFXI passed FA, now we just have to get FFV done. I think it needs a bunch more references, but where to get them from I'm not sure, good thing you are on this one too :) Judgesurreal777 (talk) 04:16, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Do you know where there are any additional references to FFV that aren't in the article? I haven't been able to find any. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 04:45, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Riana's request for bureaucratship[edit]

Dear Tyler, thank you for taking part in my RfB. As you may know, it was not passed by bureaucrats.
I would, however, like to thank you for taking the time to voice your support, despite concerns cited by the opposition. Although RfA/B isn't really about a person, but more about the community, I was deeply touched and honoured by the outpouring of support and interest in the discussion. I can only hope that you don't feel your opinion was not considered enough - bureaucrats have to give everyone's thoughts weight.
I also hope that the results of this RfB lead to some change in the way we approach RfBs, and some thought about whether long-entrenched standards are a good thing in our growing and increasingly heterogenous community.
I remain eager to serve you as an administrator and as an editor. If at any point you see something problematic in my actions, please do not hesitate to call me out. ~ Riana 12:19, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

I have a new userpage, btw. It doesn't feel right until you vandalise it. ;) ~ Riana 12:19, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Final Fantasy VII featured article review[edit]

Final Fantasy VII has been nominated for a featured article review. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. Please leave your comments and help us to return the article to featured quality. If concerns are not addressed during the review period, articles are moved onto the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Remove" the article from featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Reviewers' concerns are here. FightingStreet (talk) 13:37, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Farewell[edit]

Good luck, my friend. hbdragon88 (talk) 04:25, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes, my post was aimed at Renmiri. I find the term "drive-by editor" to be offensive. hbdragon88 (talk) 20:37, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Leaving[edit]

I am really sorry to hear that you are leaving us. You have been an invaluable contributor here on Wikipedia. I will be staying here to help out the Final Fantasy articles. :) Regards, Greg Jones II 17:02, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:XenoLogo.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:XenoLogo.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 03:41, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

So what/how are you doing?[edit]

I'm a little confused as to what you're doing these days. Are you retired (or retiring) or are you active? And you say you've been in an accident: everything still attached I hope? -- Sabre (talk) 08:43, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
