Dardio is not a Wikimedia user, as commonly thought, but an independent state anywhere in the Pacific Ocean. Its only inhabitant is Dardio who also gave the gorgeous island its melodious name. Although the Dardio Island is still rather unknown, it is said to become one of the most popular tourist regionS in the years to come, because of its natural beauties like the magnificent sandy beaches or the other marvelous sand hills that can be found everywhere on the small island.

History

The island looks back to a unbelievably long history of about 24 hours. Yesterday at the same time as now, the island was discovered and settled successfully by D. [[van (Dutch]|van]] Dardio, the famous Dutch sailor of the 16th century. He started to cultivate the island and the palm he planted can still be seen today. Van Dardio sold the island to one of his sons for 99.99 Dardio-Dollars (US$0.01). This son, King Dardio I. himself, made the island to what it is today. He started a great economic reform, trying to find oil on his island. But as his plans failed, he concentrated on tourism, first employing barmen and bikini models, later also beach entertainers and surfing teachers.

Yeah, haha. Economy? wtf??? On this island? Nowai!! The most important economic partner is the Unated Stites of Emiraca.

Languages

The island has no official language. English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese are among the most common ones, but an estimated 2,000 languages are spoken in Dardio.
By the way, why the #*$ß must the admins of the Bavarian dialect Wikipedia always delete the page about Dardio?

Population

The population develops quite constantly. There was 1 (one) inhabitant in 2000 (estimated), and 1.2 (one pt two) in 2009 (census).
