Major Robert Dudley Alexander IMS MRCP(Lond.) (14 August 1899 – 18 July 1957), known as Bob and also by the monastic names Ananda Priya and Sri Haridas, was one of the most prominent doctors in the United Provinces of early 20th-century British India. Following his early retirement from the Indian Medical Service in 1938, he joined the Mirtola ashram of Sri Yashoda Mai and Sri Krishna Prem, where he remained until his death from leukaemia in 1957.
