Brachychiton megaphyllus or kurrajong.

Description[edit]

Slender shrub or small tree to 4m, deciduous^[1]. Pink to red flowers appear in drier months, with fruit maturing in September or October. Large green leaves are present from October to June.

Distribution[edit]

B. megaphyllus is found in the Top End of the Northern Territory of Australia^[2].

Usually occurs in open woodland.
