Todgarh Raoli Wildlife Sanctuary is the most unexplored pristine Wildlife sanctuary in the heartland of Rajasthan. It is spread over Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand districts of Rajasthan, the Todgarh-Rawali Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1983. It occupies about 495 sq km of tropical deciduous forests and grassland. Major wildlife includes leopard, wild boar, chinkara, common langur, sloth bears and Indian wolf. Nearest major town is Ajmer, which is 105 km away. Ajmer Junction Railway Station and Beawar Railway Station are the nearest railheads.

Location[edit]

The sanctuary is located pretty much in the middle of the Aravelli hill ranges, Todgarh –raoli wildlife sanctuary lies in the Village todgarh.25 m from jassa kheda on NH-8 delhi- Udaipur highway,preety much connected to ajmer and jodhpur with regular bus service.

Dudhaleshwar Temple[edit]

An ancient Lord Shiva temple surrounded by tall trees of Karanj, Tamarind, and Banyan attract tourist from distance place. There is a perennial source of spring water in the temple. It is a perfect place to meditate and relieve stress.

Todgarh[edit]

Todgarh is known as the hill station of Ajmer . It its very near to the proposed ecotourism site. It is famous for its colonial buildings of Victorian era. Jain community has recently developed a beautiful monument on a hillock named “Pragya shikhar”.

Deewair[edit]

Deewair is a historical place inside the sanctuary associated with Maharana Pratap. It is the victory site where Maharana Pratap defeated the Mughal army of Akbar. Col. James Tod named Deewair as "Marathon of Mewar" in his famous book "Annals and antiquities of Rajasthan".

Bheelberi falls[edit]

Inside the sanctuary in Bhagora forest block there is waterfall of height 55 Mt. probably highest in the Aravalli range. Falling of water can be seen in the rainy season. Roosting long- billed vultures & numerous rock beehives on the cliffs just near to it can also be watched. Bheelberi can be approached by a jeep 4 kms nature trail.
