Keith Williams (property developer and entrepreneur)
Keith Williams, a former postman and Australian water ski champion, was considered pioneer of the Australian tourism development, especially in Queensland, Australia. [1] He was responsible for the establishment of the Surfers Paradse Ski Gardens, Surfers Paradise International Raceway, Bird Life Park, Sea World, Hamilton Island [2] [3] and Port Hinchinbrook Resort at Oyster Point. [4]
He was the inaugural president of Gold Coast Tourism and, in 2008, was made and honoury life member of the organisation. [5]
