Key points are:

1. Use of Find a Grave as a reference or external link is limited and context dependent

Reference:

1. Find a Grave is not a reliable source for biographical information.
2. It can only be used as a source for memorial data when all conditions are met:
   1. There are no fully reliable sources which may be used
   2. At least one of the two:
      1. There is a photograph of a gravestone (See also Verifiability of a reliable source) - or -
      2. The record was created by the Veterans Administration (VA), Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) or American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC)
   3. The pages for the person do not have unlicensed copyright information (e.g., professional portrait photography or copies of obituaries from a newspaper)
3. If it cannot be used as a reference, then the Find a Grave reference should be replaced with a {{citation needed|date=}} tag or a more reliable source

1. Find a Grave can be used as an external link if it meets the following conditions:
   1. At least one of the three:
      1. A gravestone photograph is on the website - or -
      2. The person is a designated "famous person", thereby subject to Find a Grave editorial control - or -
