CalscogGSU is currently a freshman at Georgia Southern University in rural southeast Georgia. Other than the location of the school, he absolutely loves the atmosphere and diverse people that surround him in his everyday campus life. CalscogGSU’s spare time during weekdays is filled with studying (which is vital to maintain his HOPE scholarship awarded to him), exercising, sports activities such as softball and flag football, reading for pure pleasure, and spending countless hours on Wikipedia..(:)jussst kidding). On weekends he enjoys watching sports (GOO EAGLES!!), going out and spending social time with friends, and the occasional camping trip or hike in the wilderness. Coming from a very musical family, music is very important to his everyday life. He has the ability to play guitar, banjo, mandolin, and for the most part carry a tune with his voice. Throughout high school he had the pleasure of performing music at numerous churches and other venues throughout Georgia and neighboring states.

Being fairly new to Wikipedia, CalscogGSU has only created one article on Wikipedia. He will defintely continue to contribute quality articles and keep improving his existing ones in the near future.

Techie? ehhh kinda but not so much

Being exposed to technology at an early age, this user is pretty good with most technology that one might come into contact with in daily life. CalscogGSU uses Microsoft Word on almost a daily basis, and if the situation calls, he can whip up a pretty mean graph or PowerPoint presentation using Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint. Pretty much his only technology weakness is that Mac computers confuse the hell out of him, although he is making significant advances toward understanding them seeing as how his roommate basically owns every piece of Mac equipment recently produced.

Wikipedia according to CalscogGSU

This user thinks Wikipedia doesn’t deserve the bad reputation given by teachers and other people who don’t quite understand it. CalscogGSU is not going to lie, before joining and making contributions he too was one to cut Wikipedia down. Now after spending some time making contributions and editing, he sees the hard work that most people put into making Wikipedia a creditable and respectable place. Also, this user loves how everyone can make a contribution. It’s not just limited to scholars and the overly educated.

CalscogGSU's main language is English. However, he does understand basic words in Spanish but doesn't know enough to carry a conversation. So needless to say, don't expect him to edit or create any Spanish article.
