Quebec (Attorney General) v 9147-0732 Québec inc, 2020 SCC 32 is a decision of the Supreme Court of Canada on section 12 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and constitutional interpretation. The Court held that corporations were not entitled to protection from cruel and unusual punishment under the Charter. The Court also set out the framework for interpreting Charter rights, including the role international law may play in it's interpretation.
