"The Knitmore Girls" is a knitting podcast both created and presented by mother and daughter Gigi and Jasmin.

The podcast’s main focus is on knitting, including aspects such as patterns, design elements and techniques and yarns.

Regular segments include:

“When Knitting Attacks“: Where Gigi and Jasmin tell listeners stories and details of mistakes that have happened during the current work(s) in progress.

“Straw Into Gold“: A section on spinning and buying fleeces. Different types of fleeces are reviewed, as well as information given on buying and processing your own fleeces. Spinning Wheels are the main method used, although Drop Spindling techniques can also be discussed.

“Mother Knows Best“: A section which Gigi will give advice on how to improve your knitting skills, how to make good pattern choices and techniques on Haute Couture finishing for garments.

“Reviews“: Which can include book reviews - both knitting patterns and knitting related fiction - yarns, needles, spinning wheels, fibers and anything knitting or spinning related.

“Events”: Updates and information on upcoming fibre related events, giving dates as to where and when, and also details if “The Knitmore Girls” will be attending. Jasmin and Gigi will usually have a “Meet and Greet” at these events, giving fans a chance to “Come say Hi” and also to give out “goody bags”.

Occasional guest hosts have been Jasmin’s husband, Andrew, as well as friends Gregory, Erin, (the host of her own knitting podcast “Brass Needles”), Chloe Sparkle, Katrina (The “Knitmore Intern”) and Jasmin’s younger brother/Gigi’s son Sam.
