James 'Jim' Waterson (born 1989 or 1990 (age 34–35)[1]) is a British journalist, currently Media Editor at The Guardian.[2] He was political editor at Buzzfeed from 2013-2017.[3] He previously worked at City A.M., covering politics and business. Waterson graduated in history from Jesus College, Oxford in 2011.[4] He represented the college on the 2008-10 series of University Challenge.[5]

He has presented Week in Westminster on BBC Radio 4[6], and appeared on the Moral Maze in February 2017.[7]
