Commonly called 'Belegarth' the Belegarth Medieval Combat Society is a "not for profit" corporation in Bloomington, Illinois. The organization advertises itself as one of the many boffer foam medieval combat sports organizations supporting multiple chapters and clubs across America. These Realms as the organization refers to them as, compete at regional events every year.
The organization initially formed from a set of loosely organized clubs and franchises starting in December of 2001. In July of 2002 the group was organized enough to incorporate in the State of Illinois. [1].
