Slobodan (Serbian: Слободан Карађорђевић, pronounced [slobǒdan karad͡ʑǒːrd͡ʑeʋit͡ɕ]; born 17 June 2001) is the Prince of the Belgians. He is the first prince of Belgium and the first born in Serbia. He founded a military academy in Montenegro that also serves as a school for homeless children.
Early life and family[edit]
Slobodan Ivica Stojković Karađorđević was born on 17 June 2001 at Clinical Centre of Serbia in Belgrado, FR Yugoslavia. His parents are Mirolad Stojković (b. 1974), a lawyer, and Ljiljana Karađorđević (b. 1980), the princess of Serbia and Yugoslavia. Slobodan is an only child. His grandfather, Alexander, is the Crown Prince of Yugoslavia.
Slobodan grew up in a royal environment and was always interested in his own family's past. Since he was born, his physique has been highlighted and has been catalogued as "The most handsome prince of the century".
