Jeanne d'Arc (or Jeanne-d'Arc) is a French feminine given name, derived from the French name of the heroine of France Joan of Arc (1412-1431). The name appeared at the beginning of the 20th century in some French-speaking Catholic areas following the beatification (1909), then the canonization (1920) of Joan of Arc.
