I started playing Shaiya a few days ago and I liked it a lot. Something weird about me is I'm always trying to find a story in things. I found myself writting down the names of cities and other locations so I could write a story about it. I know it's not the best, but I'm working on it and I hope you all enjoy it. As I contuine to play the game, I will add to the story. By the way, my name in dc_question in the game so if you see me, might sure to say hello and tell me you read my story.

Chapter 1: Finding a Defender

The town's bell rang as a knight on a horse rode into town. The villagers had there weapons ready in case there was troble, but the knight just raised his hand and spoke.

"People, people. I'm not here to fight, I come to this town to find a warrior. The humans and the elves are in a war with the Vains and the Death Eaters. We need more recuits, we need a defender."

"Why do you come here?" claimed an angry voice from the crowd. "No one here can fight. We're just rookies. We just started to lean to fight!"

"Normally, we would never come here," shot back the knight. "But the war is getting so bad that we need all the help we need. Besides, it's not a fighter we need, we need a defender. Any volunteers?"

"I'll go." Came a strong voice from near the back of the crowd.

"You there," boomed the knight. "Why should I choose you to join the war?"

"This isn't 20 questions. If I believe thyat I'm ready, then I'm ready!"

With a blink of an eye, the knight throw his sword at the boy. The boy caught it by the handle, inches away from his chest.

"You seem to defend yourself pretty well, son. But that doesn't give me a good reason to enlist you."

The boy ran to front of the line. He jumped over the knight and attacked a small thief monkey behind him. The boy was swift with his knife and was able defended the knight from getting attacked.

"Impressive. You have proven to me tht you can defend others as well as yourself. And your a pretty good fighter as well. Very well, you can enlist in the war, but you'll need some weapons first. Here is a long sword, you'll need it in battles. And here is your round shield for protection. What's your name, son?"

"My name is whatever you want it to be."

"Well it's not up to me to give you a name if you don't have one. That's up to the head priest. But come with me, we have a long journey ahead of us. Next stop, Keolloseu!"
