Life as a Fine Arts Professional

Brian Sal Corral (Sal )is a career artist intending to become well established internationally, contribute positively to society through his art, and teach at the university level. Military and Educational career

While completing his BFA through Virginia Tech Sal worked a full time job and served the majority of his 6 years as a Marine Corpse Reservist. During this time (1995-2001) he went through several life changes including meeting his wife, Gilee Corral. His earliest years at Virginia Tech were whimsically multi-directional.Including: a semester as a walk on for the wrestling team, artist, several scholastic major changes, a counciler for friends, a Marine, founder of the Wrestling Club and a personal trainer. After discovering that art was his only constant, Sal began to focus on painting as his path in life.
