Reminder[edit]

You've broken 3RR. You'll want to revert yourself. Relata refero (talk) 21:16, 9 February 2008 (UTC) a) I have not made 3 reverts in the last 24 hours b) The "reverts" arent reverts since the concerns have been addressed Bakaman 21:23, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

You've removed "as of 1968" four times in the past hour, to start off with. You might want to revert yourself - the concerns are far from being addressed. Relata refero (talk) 21:26, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Your mathematics is incorrect, I have made 1 revert in the past hour, compared to your three. If you are trying to get me blocked, it will display that you are not editing the page for constructive reasons. The concerns you brought up on the talk page were addressed, and I have obviously improved the quality of the page in the last day.Bakaman 21:30, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Bollocks. You've misrepresented sources, and removed text four times, and made no effort to appreciate concerns aired on the talkpage. I'm afraid that this will go to AN3 unless you demonstrate a concern for improving your behaviour by re-inserting the removed text. Relata refero (talk) 21:33, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Again, please revert yourself. I don't like reporting people. See also this. Relata refero (talk) 21:42, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Not that bit! The bit where you removed "As of 1968"! Do you even know what you're reverting? Relata refero (talk) 21:52, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Baka, pay attention to WP:3RR and WP:CIVILITY on Talk:Criticism of Hinduism. Don't let your emotions get the best of you. Continue discussion on the talk page in a civil manner. Nishkid64 (talk) 22:11, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Ram Janmabhoomi - your recent edits[edit]

Why do you want to repeatedly add this unsupported qualification >> "Many Muslim organizations, most of them accused of being fundamentalist in nature, on the other hand strongly oppose the building of the temple. >> [1] while you have removed negative references to Hindu extremists citing LIBEL here in the same article? Courts are still deciding whether the Hindu claim or the Muslim claim over the mosque land is genuine, how can you dare to say that Kar Sevaks destroyed the ILLEGAL STRUCTURE of mosque on Ram Janmabhoomi here - Man what are you doing - you are surely misrepresenting sources where if you ever cite them while you brazenly unshamedly put in your personal biases in articles?? 90.199.160.190 (talk) 01:08, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Request to keep an eye on a couple of articles.[edit]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_violence_in_India http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_Hindus

I am consistently being routed in my efforts in these articles, as long as they meet the criteria of seeming to defend Hinduism or additional addition of anti-Hindu sourced material by users Otolemur and Relata Refero, who are systematically cutting away portions of anti-Hindu articles when they are less active, and adding information from politically motivated sources only in the subject of conveying an unrealistic overall message in the article that Hindus are the primary partakers of religious violence in India and that Hindus are anti-minority hatemongers. I'll appreciate it if you have a look. CheersKBN (talk) 12:37, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Reinserting personal attacks made by IP[edit]

The comments by the IP clear violation violation of WP:NPA. So it is removed and do no reinsert. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 20:28, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

He certainly can allege my edits, edit pattern, but name calling and utterly incivil comments will not be tolerated. For example, it can be alleged that the edits may be against X-religion, but the IPs comments are blatantly targeted against a specific editor. It will not be tolerated. Calling someone anti-Hindu, and calling an editor's edits has anti-Hindu bias are different. Hostile comments like this is unacceptable. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 20:34, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

"OC appears to be an ardent Christian who hates Hindus" it is clear violation of WP:NPA. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 20:36, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

I am going to remove some of the directly targeted comments. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 20:37, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your comments[edit]

I appreciate your positive comments re: my edits on the Religious violence in India article and talk page and the Mission (Christian) article and talk page. Actually I have made quite a few edits in the past and am familiar with Wikipedia policies. Occasionally I've met with resistance on some of those, which is probably unavoidable, but I have never been threatened with being "reported" as OC above did, and after merely one reversion of his deletion of my RS sources to boot. And I have never been threatened with being blocked. The odd thing is that I was not doing anything inappropriate. The quickness of his initial revert on February 28 (within 2 minutes) told me that he could not have even read the CSM article, probably did not even click on the link. He was so enraged that I had the audacity to offer counter evidence. Today's instant removal of my comments on the Talk page was again within 2 minutes. Does he think that he is the guardian angel of these articles or something? Does he sit at his computer all day just waiting for any edit that he can instantly reject if he doesn't happen to like it? I'd say the guy has a bit of a problem (hopefully I can say that on this talk page). I have also, by the way, had similar problems with user Relata Refero [2], though at least he's a bit more civil about it and not quite so quick with the reversions, though his removal of valid information in that article currently stands which I believe to be unfair. Oddly I've noticed that on the few pages I've edited having to do with religious themes it's always the Christians who seem want to supress negative information (though it's just anecdotal evidence). 63.196.193.172 (talk) 22:33, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Pentaloon[edit]

A tag has been placed on Pentaloon, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Pentaloon and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bearian (talk) 02:04, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

My RfB[edit]

I wanted to personally thank you, Baka, for your support in my recent RfB. I am thankful and appreciative that you feel that I am worthy of the trust the community requires of its bureaucrats, and I hope to continue to behave in a way that maintains your trust in me and my actions. I have heard the community's voice that they require more of a presence at RfA's of prospective bureaucrats, and I will do my best over the near future to demonstrate such a presence and allow the community to see my philosophy and practices in action. I hope I can continue to count on your support when I decide to once again undergo an RfB. If you have any suggestions, comments, or constructive criticisms, please let me know via talkpage or e-mail. Thank you again. -- Avi (talk) 16:36, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Religion categories[edit]

Hello, Regarding Anil Ramdas, Tara Singh Varma, and Han Snel, we can't include a category that states they are Hindu and/or a convert to Hinduism unless the article contains a cited statement that the person holds or held such a personal faith. None of these articles contain anything about the subject's personal faith, which is why they are being deleted. Add some cited information on their religion, and then the categories can stay, of course. Thanks, Good Ol’factory (talk) 23:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
