Babytexcoco[edit]

I was born in Chicago, IL, but culturally speaking, am proudly from Villa Juárez, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

After being raised in Houston, Texas, I relocated to Joliet, IL and am now in Lincoln, NE. I have earned an Associate of Arts degree from the Houston Community College System, and a Bachelor's Degree (majoring in history with a minor in political science) from the University of Houston–Downtown in 2006. I have since earned an Associates of Arts degree from the Lone Star College System (Cum Laude) and Joliet Junior College (High Honors) both in May 2009. I am scheduled to complete a Master's Degree in History, specializing in Mexican-American studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in December 2012. I will apply for a Ph.D. in Education Administration at UNL for the spring 2013 semester.

I have taught social studies at the Houston Independent School District and Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 in Plainfield, IL.
